Modern Foreign Languages

Modern Foreign Languages

Our Vision

MFL provides an opening to other cultures. Pupils develop a wider understanding of the world, and the curriculum allows them to further their curiosity about foreign cultures. There is a practical purpose to content and an emphasis on expressing ideas and thoughts in another language. It allows all pupils to initiate and respond to conversation and equips students to study, work, travel and read in another language. Languages are the gateway to the world!
