Our School
All members of the Ryedale School team are committed to realising the school’s vision and we have adopted the Ryedale Values to help guide us in our approach to life and learning.
The Ryedale Values of Honesty, Kindness and Respect are woven into the fabric of our community and exemplified by all. We encourage our students to Be Curious and to Work Hard in their learning; we place high importance on attitude to learning as we understand that if we can support our students to get this right, success will follow in all aspects of school life.
We are a true community school; every student is known and valued as an individual and we pride ourselves on the positive relationships we forge with students and their families. We also have an extremely close and supportive team of staff.
We take our social and environmental responsibilities seriously. From hosting music concerts for local elderly residents, to organising litter picking groups to work in the community, we are determined to make a positive contribution. We are proud to have achieved 'Plastic Free Schools' status and our Environmental Ambassadors are continually seeking to grow membership of their club and take on new projects.
